Chief Operating Officer, Asia PacificKevin was appointed Chief Operating Officer in Asia Pacific for BT Asia Pacific in September 2006. Besides the overall responsibility for all operations activities in the region, Kevin also has responsibilities for directing the Business Management, Customer Service & Network Operations teams as well as managing BT’s relationships with key customers at a CEO level. Kevin initially joined BT as vice president, Global Solutions in December 2003. His responsibilities included delivering and managing BT’s products, services and solutions, including IP infrastructure/WAN, Mobility, CRM, Conferencing, Security and Outsourcing throughout the Asia Pacific region. The Global Solutions business closed and delivered £7 billion worth of business in the 12 months up to 2005, and Kevin has been one of the key contributors behind BT’s transformation to a network-centric outsourcing and services business. Kevin brings to BT in Asia Pacific a wealth of experience gained through years of building businesses, and has been the architect behind many outsourcing deals. In the early years of his career, he worked with Data Sciences (part of IBM), CFM (part of ICL), and later with the Capita Group. In each of these roles, managing and securing large outsourcing projects was a major component of his responsibilities. Kevin also spent six years with global consulting company, James Martin & Co. in a variety of roles, including president and COO International for Europe and Asia Pacific, as global head of sales, and as head of offshore development Kevin is based in Hong Kong. |
