More than 100 business and civic leaders attended the debate, many of whom contributed to the panellist's discussion around the barriers to recognising, accessing, and retaining talent within organisations.

British Business Leaders Lunch (BBLL)

For the second consecutive year, BT co-hosted the British Business Leaders' Lunch (BBLL), a significant private function at Davos, alongside the CBI, Accenture and WPP.

Now in its sixth year, the BBLL is a key platform for the UK delegation to convene and discuss the theme and topics of the annual meeting.

David Miliband, UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, was the invited guest speaker and introduced by BT Chairman, Sir Michael Rake, who also introduced Gordon Brown, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who was an unannounced but expected visitor.

The event is featured in blogs by the FT and Independent.
